SyncDeK 7 consists of:

  • SyncDeK Engine - a background java service which runs at each node (copy of a database)
  • SyncDeK Server - (optional) for Client/Server (hub and spoke) data sync
  • SyncDeK Communicator - a FileMaker plug-in to enable command and control of SyncDeK Engine from within FileMaker
  • SyncDeK Developer - a stand-alone application used by the developer to configure synchronized data sharing communities

SyncDeK Engine is offered in three deployment license formats:

Network Engine for FileMaker, Single-user Engine for FileMaker and SQL Engine

  • A SyncDeK Single-user Engine license is required for every standalone FileMaker seat - such as remote, mobile or other distributed individuals with standalone copies of the database.
  • A SyncDeK Network Engine license is required for each FileMaker Server in the sharing community.
  • A SQL Engine license is required for each SQL data source in the sharing community.
