WORLDSYNC, INC. CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING OF NEW SYNCDEK DEVELOPER ALLIANCE

-- FileMaker Developers and Consultants are Invited to Join for Expert Resources, Training, Product Discounts, Marketing Support and More --

BERKELEY, Calif., Sept. 30, 2004 - WorldSync, Inc. today celebrated the grand opening of its new SyncDeK Developer Alliance (SDA) and has begun accepting Subscriber and Associate members.

Now for the first time, an official developer community with implementation resources, product discounts and marketing support, is available to those interested in integrating SyncDeK(R) data replication technology into their FileMaker(R) solutions. All SDA members receive access to the SDA-only online community, exclusive access to the SDA distributed knowledge base, priority status for training webinars, pre-release software, free updates to SyncDeK Developer, and participation in co-marketing activities. Associate SDA members also enjoy discounted pricing for SyncDeK Engines, priority for client referrals, listing as experienced SyncDeK developer and more.

"All of us at WorldSync want developers to be highly successful at implementing SyncDeK," explained Jason Erickson, founder and CEO of WorldSync, Inc. "Because SyncDeK 5 synchronizes data between FileMaker databases, the SDA will be of particular interest to FileMaker Solutions Alliance (FSA) members. However, any qualified database developer or consultant may join. We're very excited about the SDA and look forward to working closely with our members."

Chris Jackson of The Support Group explains, "The group at WorldSync has provided better technical support and customer service than any other company I have ever used! Based on my experience, a SyncDeK Developer Alliance should make high-quality implementation faster, and that impacts the bottom line."

"I'd recommend SDA membership to any developer using SyncDeK Ð it's a real productivity-enhancer and great value," said Andrew Reichart, operations manager with beezwax datatools. "As a manager in a FileMaker design firm, not a developer, there's been a lot of learning for me as I've done my first SyncDeK implementation. I'm happy to say, the process has been very straightforward; the documentation has been totally clear and easy to follow; and every step of the way, WorldSync has given me the most extraordinary technical support I've ever received."

Subscriber members are independent consultants and developers who are new to SyncDeK, and in-house IT professionals using SyncDeK to support their organization, who wish to have access to additional resources to support their use of SyncDeK. Associate members are independent development organizations and packaged solution providers that have proven experience with SyncDeK who wish to have access to additional resources as well as priority for client referrals and co-marketing opportunities.

The cost of membership includes a free SyncDeK Developer Kit for members who don't already own one. The price to join the SDA as a Subscriber member is an initial US$599 (US$299 for currently registered SyncDeK Developer customers) and US$199/year for renewal. The price to join the SDA as a Associate member is an initial US$699 (US$399 for currently registered SyncDeK Developer customers) and US$299/year for renewal. SyncDeK 5 Powers Data Any Time, Anywhere
Available on Mac OS X and Windows, SyncDeK powers bi-directional asynchronous data replication for data in FileMaker databases that are either persistently connected to the Internet or used offline. SyncDeK 5 is a powerful application and plug-in combination that together provides the synchronization of specified fields between distributed FileMaker databases based on configurable rules, using commonly available Internet protocols. Designed for use by remote sites and mobile workers, often working offline, SyncDeK combines the power of Java-based background services with the flexibility of standard Internet communication protocols to synchronize XML data.

Highly configurable and scalable, replication applies to individual data fields or entire FileMaker database files across client/client, client/server or server/server solutions. Conflict resolution is performed according to configurable business rules. SyncDeK is configured, tested, deployed and maintained using SyncDeK Developer Kit, which includes the SyncDeK Developer Tool, set-up assistants for creating and editing the solutionÕs replication preferences and Version Update Management (VUM) settings, and temporary activation keys for node set-up and testing.
